How do I open an account with BigFundr?

To get started, download and launch the BigFundr mobile application from the App Store or Google Play.


Step 1:

  1. Tap Sign Up
  2. Enter your name, email address and password (minimum 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character).
  3. Tap Privacy Policy and Platform Agreement to review them.
  4. If you have a referral code, tap Have a referral code? and enter the code.
  5. Tap Sign up to create your account.
  6. Tap Complete assessment to get started.


Step 2: Enable notifications and biometric login

On Stay secure and updated on latest news screen:

  1. Push notifications: Tap Allow to receive push notifications from BigFundr.
  2. Biometrics: Toggle on to enable fingerprint or Face ID login, then approve when prompted.
  3. Tap Continue to proceed.


Step 3: Getting Verified

You may complete your registration using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Via MyInfo (Recommended) 

  1. If you are a registered Singpass user, select MyInfo. Your personal information to be automatically retrieved and populated. 
  2. Please ensure you have the SingPass app installed on your phone and all required fields are completed before submission.


Option 2: Manual submission. 

You may enter your personal information manually. You will need to upload the supporting documents for identity verification.

Please note:

  • Digital identity cards and passes are not acceptable. 
  • Our Customer Service representative will contact you for verification.


Proof of Identification

Singaporean / Permanent Residents: Clear pictures of the front and back of your NRIC. 

Foreign nationals: You must upload the following documents:

  • Passport profile page (must have a minimum validity of 6 months), and

  • Front and back of your Employment Pass or Work Pass.


Proof of Address

Singaporean / Permanent residents: Not required.

Foreign nationals: You must upload any one of the following documents dated within the last 3 months:

  • Bank statement clearly showing the bank name, statement date, your full name and residential address; or
  • Utility or telephone bill clearly showing the issuing entity, issue date, your full name and residential address; or
  • Statement from relevant government authorities clearly showing the issuing entity, issue date, your full name and residential address; or
  • National identity card or driving licence (only if your address is stated in the document).


Please ensure all submitted documents are clear and readable.


Step 4: 

  1. For Identity Verification and Employment details, fill in the required details and tap Continue.
  2. Select your Suitability assessment and tap Continue.
  3. Review and acknowledge the declarations and tap Confirm.
  4. Enter your mobile number to receive a one-time verification code (OTP).
  5. Enter the OTP sent to your phone. If you did not receive the code, tap Resend code.


Your account will be verified within 3 business days under normal circumstances. Once verification is complete, you will receive an email notification and a bell notification in the app informing you that your account has been successfully verified.
